Harvest Market believes healthy eating means eating foods which are locally raised, grown and produced. The eggs and chicken in your diet are from happy, healthy, free roaming hens and consume wild caught fish and seafood. Eating pork, lamb & beef are best from locally pastured pigs, sheep and cattle. We believe in eating local produce, grown seasonally, without herbicides, insecticides and pesticides. Healthy snacking should be on nuts, seeds, vegetables and fruits; foods that are not preserved or processed. Avoid all artificial sweeteners and high fructose corn syrup and know that healthy foods have a shorter shelf life because they are not processed. We believe it is better to eat foods that do not contain nutrition or food labels and only contain ingredients you can pronounce and understand.
